Question: Why do certain smells give me a migraine headache.?
Mostly perfumes and scented products. Usually associated with candles shampoo and incense. Occasionally associated with heavy flowering of certain trees in our area.

it hasn't got much to do do with allergies...i wish it had, so it would be easier to cure;
i'm suffering from migraine for years -while being absolutely "non alergic"

You just have a heightened sensitivity, there is really nothing you can do but avoid it. For me it's orange juice, the acidity of it sets off a migraine like a knife to the skull. It could also be allergies, try using claritin or zyrtec.Health Question & Answer
