I feel sick- could it be because I ate a waxworm?!

Question: I feel sick- could it be because I ate a waxworm.?
I'm on an animal science course and a fellow student was carrying some waxworm on him, which you feed to reptiles. We decided to be gross and eat one. I know they are edible however I don't know if it makes any different whether they are raw or not- anyway I now, several hours later feel quite sick. I have a pain and a sick feeling in my belly, like I might urge, and before that I was feeling dizzy and hot. It definately feels like the source is in my belly. It could possibly be PMT, but it extremely rare that I ever fall sick with anything, so that's why I am wondering if it was the worm.Health Question & Answer
