Question: Hi,could you help me please.i'm taking Diazepam,Diclofenac and Co-Codamol can i drink a small amount of beer .?
Answers:
Diazepam is pretty useless overall or this, the fact that it is useful as a muscle relaxant is a bit of a medical myth that most doctors have long ago abandoned. The BNF ( the UK doctor's prescribing bible) declares Co-codamol unsuitable for routine prescribing, as its risk/benefit ratio is poor. It is only 5% more effective than paracetamol, but has disproportionately more side effects. You are thus in trouble with the quality of the medication prescribed to you, even before you add the beer. Both diazepam and Co-codamol data sheets also advise that they should not be taken with alcohol.

Good comments as usual Rhianna Sweetie! Who on earth gave you an inappropriate thumbs down for such a correct medically based answer.?Health Question & Answer

No, bad combination, Why in the world would you want to drink and risk your health after taking all those meds.?

Diazepam plus beer = sedation, slowed breathing and possible death.

Diclofenac plus beer = increased stomach gastritis, reflux, ulcer, kidney and liver damage, increased blood pressure, fluid retentionHealth Question & Answer

No you should avoid alcohol and by the way; a horrendous combination of medication there. Co-Codamol is addictive and causes constipation. Diazipam is very addictive in as little as 4 days! The NSAID (Dicolfenac) can cause gastric intestinal disturbances in some cases. You need to steer clear of the alcohol.Health Question & Answer

No, Dont have alcohol.. Its not advisable, with the liver having to pass all that medication alcohol on top is not a good idea.. You can end up really ill. passin out..
