I have this horrible infection?!

It's on my toe, or in it, I don't know. But I had lost my soft ballet shoes the day of my class so I had to use ones at the studio. They were way to small but I had to use them. After I noticed that my big toe was hurting, and somewhat swollen on the side. I didn't really take much notice to it until a few days later when it started to hurt really badly. Puss what coming out of it when I pushed on it and it was always seeping a clear liquid out. It's not an ingrown toenail because I've had them before and it was never like this. I have had it for about two weeks now. It has gotten better. Not so much puss and not as swollen. Any answers on what this could be.?
