How long after smoking weed am I safe to do a saliva drug test?!

Question: How long after smoking weed am I safe to do a saliva drug test.?
Answers:
There is no current formula to accurately work out how long THC, the active ingredient of cannabis, will remain in the system, but as a rough guide, it is estimated to be around 48-72 hours in a one-off or occasional user and up to 6 weeks in a heavy user.

Personally I find the whole idea of testing employees for drugs a breach of your civil liberties, considering that legal drugs such as alcohol are potentially far more damaging than marijuana, but we'll leave that argument for another board.

For now, here's a link with advice on how to beat the saliva test;

Health Question & Answer

Hmm dubious answer offering a way to 'beat' the test. Cannabis does stay in the system for a long period and in a urine test can be found after even three months. It's called dope for a reason and instead of googling how to beat the test go and look up the brain scans of users.

Or check out this latest finding -

The Schizophrenia research institute found that -
"The cannabis users were found to have an averaged 12 per cent volume reduction of the hippocampus, and a 7 per cent reduction of the amygdala compared to controls. "

1. The risk of psychosis is increased by around 40 per cent in people who have used cannabis;

2. There is a dose-response effect, leading to an increased risk of 5
