PETIT mal seizures (absence seizures) or simple partial seizures?!

Question: PETIT mal seizures (absence seizures) or simple partial seizures.?
What does it feel like to go through one.? I work as a dealer at a casino and every time I'm on the floor with all those flashing lights and ten million different sounds at once; my head starts REALLY hurting and for 15-30 seconds I can't move and my jaw clenches up really bad. Right after wards, though, I feel fine, like nothing happened. The only thing I can find on the internet about them is what it looks like for someone else to go through it. I want to know if that's what is happening to me. I know I should go to a doctor, but it cost like $500 to see a neurologist in my area and like $3000 to get a CT scan since I don't have insurance. I would just like to get an idea of whats happening to me before i can afford to see a doctor. When my head does start hurting, its in a very small specific spot, like front right or left temple etc. But, its hurt in a different spot each time. I've been trying to research simple partial seizures along with petit mal seizures but it would help a lot to hear from someone with experience. THANKS!!!!Health Question & Answer

My daughter was diagnosed with Petit Mal over 20 years ago. She describes her experience like this:
"First a tight pressure in my head, then I begin to experience tunnel vision. The next thing I remember is the seizure is over, and my head hurts like crazy".

What you are experiencing sounds quite different. You will HAVE to go to a doctor for an EEG to determine if you are indeed having seizures.

It could be something besides a seizure, like a brain tumor, a small bleed (a mini stroke), problems with your electrolytes (especially if you have an eating disorder), sudden Blood Pressure drops, or a TIA (warning you of an impending heart attack).

You cannot avoid going to the doctor! Arrange for a payment plan or something, because this could be serious, and to do nothing will almost guarantee a visit to the hospital eventually....disruption to your job, and possible permanent disability depending on the cause.

My daughter has the seizure disorder, my older sister had the brain tumor...for my sis, the only symptom was headaches and hearing loss, which she lived with for several years. The tumor got so large, she is now totally disabled, slurrs her speech and has memory problems. PLEASE, get to a doctor!!

I wish you the best. Good luck, sweetie. Health Question & Answer
