Try putting some humidity in the air via a humidifier - you can hire them from pharmacies and similar places - can provide good relief especially while sleeping
Sounds a bit like an upper respiratory infection of some sort
Try gargling with some soluble paracetemol and swallow to help the sore thoat or use some warm salty water or you can buy a saline spray from the pharmacy which may help the dryness
Fresh squeezed pure lemon juice and honey - 2 tablespoons juice and 1 teaspoon of honey make a nice soothing mix to sip like cough mix and will help the sore throat - also full of vitamin C - good for infections
Schedule a doctors appt in case you still need it - cancel last minute if not needed Health Question & Answer

Sounds like the symptoms of being in too dry air. Get a humidifier and keep the humidity at 40%. You may need a humidistat to tell what it is. Dry air will do all of those things. When heat is turned on in a house in the winter it takes the humidity down to 15% which is dryer than a dessert. Health Question & Answer

You don't say how old he is, so the only advice I can give you is take him to the Doctor. His sinuses are blocked and infected, but I wouldn't know what to recommend because of no age. Sorry Bri. Health Question & Answer

Allergies or sinusitis with post-nasal drip. Some nasal saline spray will help with that feeling of dryness, and might help break up the congestion so he can blow his nose and get rid of some of it.Health Question & Answer

I would guess post nasal drip. Just a common sickness, it comes and goes. You might want to go through with the doctor appointment. The Specialists always do it carefully.Health Question & Answer
