You have to be very close to the bird or very close to somebody who has been infected. Bird flu is hard for a human to catch. 1. You have to be very close to an infected bird I mean a metre or two. 2. you can catch it from an infected birds feathers if or you were to pick up a feather of an infected bird and inhale.3 You can catch it from poultry that isn,t cooked well enough. 4. it can be passed form human to human. 5.other animals that have been infected such as dogs and cats. 6.you can catch it if you eat raw eggs that are infected. those are the ways off the top of my head. But be very clear that bird flu is very hard for a human to catch who doesn,t come into close contact with birds or feathers. The greatest danger of a human being infected is if you don,t cook poultry or eggs properly. But it isn,t something you should really worry about unless you are a farmer. Health Question & Answer
