Question: If you are a doctor, advice would be nice but anyone with serious answers or similar situations would be help!.?
I have had a ct, an x-ray, and and endoscope, Plus many blood tests and an mri, they have found a small hieatial hernia , kidney stone in right kidney, and elevated billiruben! and reflux damage to esophagus so my main question to the doctor was what is still causing me to not be able to eat chock let, dairy, or anything with fat foods, the pain i have, is under my right rib cage to the center, and in my back under my ribs, all my glands are swollen! and the back pain especially the front pain from under ribs to almost diaphragm has gotten worse, doctor is sending me in for a hidi scan, think that's how its spelled.? but anyone got any similar problems, or does this sound like something you have heard of.? thanks also i do not drink or smoke, and i eat and exercise! in good shape and weight!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Have they checked your gall bladder - because that is what it sounds like. I'm not sure why you can't eat Chocolate -but any fried or greasy foods making you sick is common to gall bladder, as well as the location of the pain. You may have a stone obstructing the "common duct" -which is common to the the gall bladder and the liver-and both have enzymes that help digest food-and then empty into your intestines. When the duct is blocked, these enzymes back up into your stomach -and you feel nauseous and have reflux. If you have an infection in the gall bladder-then your lymph glands can swell. I'm not sure what a "hidi" scan is - but an MRI should have showed stones. My husband's stones were more like "sand" and hard to diagnose - and he had attacks for months before they finally determined that it was gall bladder problems. Gall bladder surgery is very common today-it can sometimes be done by laproscopy. If your doctor can not make a diagnosis-go to another one or an endocrinologist. Good luck-hope you are diagnosed and get relief soon.Health Question & Answer
