Should I change my kids dr. (Need help from other Moms or Dr.'s) ?!

Question: Should I change my kids dr. (Need help from other Moms or Dr.'s) .?
Okay, my son started daycare this summer. Before this he may have had 1-2 fevers a year and 1 cold. He really wasn't around other kids. This summer he started daycare. He has had about 5-6 fevers in the last 4 months. They range from right over 100 to 104.5. Sometimes they last two days other times they linger on for like 4. My son's dr. said it is just him getting used to the germs at daycare and being around new germs. He also had a silent seizure this past summer. They believe was a febrile seizure but did not check into it anymore. I am hearing all different thoughts and need some help making a decision. Should I trust the dr. and is this just from daycare or should I get a new dr. and ask for a second opinion. Sometimes I feel they just pass things off. But they are the dr. and probably see things like this all the time. I could change dr.'s but they say this dr. likes to send kids to specialist after specialist. Please help, I don't know what to do. I hope that that is the only thing wrong with my son, but what if it is something else. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Would you change dr.'s or keep the one I have

Other info: My son will be 3 in about a week, he is 31-32 lbs and about 40-42 inches.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It is not uncommon for children attending daycare to get lots of runny noses, fevers, rashes, etc. Try adding a multivitamin to your child's diet and make sure he is getting required nutrients, a little extra vitamin C could also help boost his immune system. If you are not comfortable with the current Dr, find another, that is only a decision you can make.
