Question: How can someone do this to themselves... .?
I watched a show where this young girl commited suicide because she was suffering from depression. The father said she had inflicted a wound (didn't say where) that killed her in a matter of 2 seconds.
This is a serious question that I have been pondering ever since I watched the show...
Where on earth would you have to inflict a wound in order for it to do that.?.? It was mind blowing to hear it considering she didn't use a gun.
I always thought maybe it was her wrist.
PLEASE, please take this seriously, no crude answers. I'm just intrigued, I am NOT going to act on it.

The father was probably exaggerating/putting emphasis on how quickly she died, and wasnt being literal. There is no way a person can inflict a wound with a knife that would kill so quickly.
Even cutting ones throat or directly stabbing through the heart takes more than 2 seconds to die.
Although he could have meant she hanged herself, which would be considered almost instantaneous death if done correctly. There are a few other more exotic ways it could be done too.Health Question & Answer

It could be any part of her body where there is a big vein present but then again she would bleed to death and that would take longer than 2 seconds. I'm not quite sure...now you've got me thinking.Health Question & Answer
