Why when ever I eat out I feel sick?!

Question: Why when ever I eat out I feel sick.?
For some reason when ever I eat out I start feeling sick.. and can't finish my meal. I start to feel nauseous, and my throat tightens up..I also start to feel a bit dizzy like I'm about to puke. This happens every time I go out to eat.
I'm semi vegetarian(I only eat fish meat) and I eat very healthy.. I never eat fast food either. I'm not sure what the problem might be. Help would be nice, please.?... Any suggestions...?Health Question & Answer

All the people who answered your question are right. You have a social problem and the reason is you are scared to be tempted with the wrong food. So before U even see their food or taste it you allready are having a severe anticipatory anxiety of getting the wrong food.
also to make it easier on all of us I wish U mentioned how do U feel when U eat your food, in your house or privately.
As a golden rule, wherever you are invited, eat in your home first. I think even a salad in other people's house will make you sick, since the obsession you are having is pretty strong.Health Question & Answer

You might be too low on iron, when you're a vegetarian. I'm a vegetarian too and I got really close to having a major iron problem Try taking iron supplement pills. The other thing it might be is you might be lactose intolerant I am as well. I am really, I mean really, lactose intolerant I would get dizzy, pass out, puke, and have diarrhea. I started taking Lactaid pills and they work really well, sometimes my stomach will still feel a little uneasy, but it's so much better. So try either of those, I would try the iron pills first. And if that doesn't work you might want to go to a doctor to see if you are lactose intolerant. Health Question & Answer

You are probably allergic to the additives in the food. You may think when you eat out you are eating healthy, but you aren't. Restaurant food is full of chemical and preservatives, oil (even if they say it isn't), saliva from the cooks talking, mucus from them sneezing, and God knows what else. My suggestion is to save your money and your health and eat at home, and when you do have to eat out, order food that is fully cooked and served hot. Never, ever order fresh fruit and vegetables from a restaurant, and never use the salad bar either.Health Question & Answer

Hmmm...
You may have whats called MSG sensitivity. MSG is added in virtually ALL foods in restaurants to enhance the flavor...even veg restaurants! MSG (MONOSODIOM GLUTAMATE) is a KNOWN neurotoxin. Adverse reactions such as migraine headaches, asthma, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, disorientation, and depression are common in people with sensitivity. You seem to fit that description. A Naturopathic Doctor would be able to nail down a diagnosis with a simple test if you feel the need. Until then, find a good raw food restaurant and I'm sure the problem will be eliminated!
