Question: Help! vocal CHORDS i am soo stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.?
wow i am an IDIOT!
i went to fright nights yesterday (like a dumbass) and totally forgot that i had a singing audition for the biggest musical of the school year ( I KNOW! YIKES) TOMMOROW! (double YIKES) and now my voice is scratchy and squeeky and not one beautiful note can be made! im trying to sing and practice but my throat wont give and it hurts tooo!

WHAT CAN I POSSIBLY DO TO CURE MY THROAT FOR TOMMOROW.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?

i know i know it serves me right for forgetting and being stupid, and i deserve this for being irresponsible (i know already my mom lectured me for about an hour!) but please any remedies.? cures.? natural medicines.?.?.?.?.?.?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ITS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME chance i get to do this musical and i want to play the lead! please help me!!!!!!!

Dont talk let alone try to sing. Absolutely rest your voice.

You can take some ibuprofen tablets regularly (2 every 4 hours) starting now and keep it up until after the audition.

There's not much else you can do. You've over stressed the cords and now they are inflamed. Unfortunately gargling or drinking things wont help as the vocal cords are in the trachea. Health Question & Answer
