Is there any home cures for caffeine headaches?!

Question: Is there any home cures for caffeine headaches.?
That doesn't involve "more caffeine" or pills. I get caffeine Headaches while I am home on the weekends because I only drink coffee at work and I don't drink soda. I could just take ibuprofen but I wanted to know if there are any home remedies.

Is is there a way to even prent the the headache in my scenarioHealth Question & Answer

This is not really an answer, but just curious why you would put yourself through this ordeal every weekend.? Perhaps the solution is to drink a cup each day on the weekend to avoid the headaches and drink less coffee at work, limiting yourself to 2 cups at the most and this will give your body a chance to adjust to a normal amount and then if you want to quit coffee permanently, you will have better chance of success and less pain.

I knew a very determined guy who drank a lot of coffee and decided to quit and he had to spend about 4 days in bed with excruciating headaches before he finally felt better. I admired him but felt there had to be an easier way.

Good luck. I am a sissy when it comes to pain and especially headaches and would do anything to avoid them.

I kind of have to agree with cbmaclean. You've obviously entered the world of caffeine addiction - you wouldn't be having the headaches otherwise. At this point you need to embrace the coffee or let it go entirely. I've gone through enough caffeine headaches to know there is no way I want to do that every weekend.

Or you can take 2 aspirin/ibuprofen/Tylenol first thing in the morning, before the headache kicks in. If I wait until the headache gets here, they won't work.Health Question & Answer

My mom used to lay down on the couch with a cold wash cloth over her head. And if that doesn't work then I don't know what to tell ya!Health Question & Answer
