Well... personally I think 14 is a way too young for it. I know not everyone is as conservative as I am, but at the age of 14 you are simply not mature enough for it - in every aspect of the word (nor emotionally, nor physically...).

i was about a month away from 16.
just be sure that this is what you want... i know sometimes it doesn't seem like a big deal but you wouldn't want to regret it.
