Well I am sick just like you and I am almost over it its been 2 days. What I did was rub vicks on all my joints and on the palms of my feet, then put socks on. Let me tell you this really helps I also drank theraflu. Drinking tea with honey and lemon is also very good that helps. Do the vicks thing and you will be good!!! If your "hot" date is all that "hot" she will understand when you tell her you are sick and ask for a rain check. Take some Aspirin ( if you can take it without complications) and drink lots of fluids, hot drinks, like lemon tea or hot lemonade. don't take a cold shower, unless you want to get really sick. the Aspirin should bring your temperature down within an hour. if you are old enough to drink, before you go to bed heat some whiskey up and sip it before going to sleep. you will sweat the cold out of you are sleep well and should feel better tomorrow.Health Question & Answer

Brandy is right on - plus anything under 100 is not dangerous and is standard for a cold or even a headache. Since you have had the cold for three days already your not contagious and most unlikely to spread it.Health Question & Answer

Just thought of this if you take a cold shower you are fighting against your body's natural defenses against viruses. So don't that for sure.Health Question & Answer
