I did some research and I read that on your first visit they usually ask you to take off clothes to find the main cause of the problem, but I know the problem is my ankle because it's swollen because I had an accident. I'm so, so insecure about my body, like, stupidly insecure, and especially my legs, I despise them and I don't want to have to remove clothes because I'll probably end up crying. Even thinking about taking off clothes in front of other people makes me want to cry.
also, do they take your weight.? Because last time my doctor did that I went on a ridiculous diet for like a month.
I know I sound stupid, but I can't help it. Please, seriously, help me, I'd prefer more detail please :(

Okay, I answered your other question, but you asked more in this one. If they need to see more of your leg, they will have you go into a changing room and put on a robe or hospital gown. You can leave your underwear and blouse on. You can bring shorts - maybe even capris - with you to put on instead.

They may want to see your leg, but realize, they see all kinds of bodies every day. They see a obese people, deformed people, amputees, etc - they have chosen this profession as a living because they care and want to help you. They are not going to laugh at you. It sound like you have a serious underlying problem and should probably address it with a counselor. But for the appointment just ask if it is even necessary and explain that you are very uncomfortable taking ur clothes off and see if they can accommodate you. If you have to do it ask for a gown or sheet. If they need you to get undressed you are going to have to do it or not get treated.Health Question & Answer
no that's untrue, I work at a physical therapy office and if you have an ankle injury and they ask you to undress something is very wrong there. I garuntee they will not ask you to get naked for an ankle injuryHealth Question & Answer
