Can a person with Hypothyroidism get disability? Is it on there list?!

Question: Can a person with Hypothyroidism get disability.?Is it on there list.?
Answers:
Hi. No, Hypothyroidism is not considered a disability. I wish it was tho. I have it, and just don't feel well most of the time. A disability has to be something that makes it impossible for you to work. You can take medication for Hypothyroidism to correct the problem, so they figure you would be able to work then ( even tho it's not that easy for some people, and i'm one of them ). Good Luck :-)Health Question & Answer

Hypothyroidism is a medical condition that is easily managed with medication, so I would say no.Health Question & Answer
