Ah sounds like something that happened to my friend just last week. I'm no doctor, but I would try and straighten it, keep it moving - do not keep it immobile, but don't force anything too hard, wouldn't want to make the situation worse. I'd leave it for a day or two, see how things are, still have problems with moving it, if it still looks quite bad then you should get it to the doctor, so a splint can be put in or whatever.

Ouch, I'm feeling that pain though... jeez must have really hurt! Hope it gets better soon =DHealth Question & Answer

Sounds pretty sore, if it's worrying you it's best to get it checked out, make an emergency appointment with you GP tomorrow and they'll know what to do from there. If it is broken there's not normally much that can be done, they will probably put a little splint in between 2 of your fingers and then tape them together to support the bad one and keep it straight. I hope it's all ok :) xHealth Question & Answer

go to A&E or your local walk in centre if its 24 hours, you will probably need an xray and if you have blood under the nail causing it to throb then it could be trephined - meaning releasing the blood underneath which is causing the pain.

You really need to get it checked out properly.

Take some painkillers though, paracetamol and ibuprofen (if you can take it)Health Question & Answer

Go have it checked out as soon as possible. You may have fractured it which means it will hurt but might seem like bruise. If a fractured bone sets in the wrong place you are in for a lot of hassle. Don't ignore it, just make sure you are healthy.Health Question & Answer
