Would it be weird for a 23 year old to get a hearing aid?!

Question: Would it be weird for a 23 year old to get a hearing aid.?
Answers:
I lost my hearing two years ago and now wear two aids. I hated it at first, but realised that there are worse things that can happen.
I chose to make them a part of me, by choosing coloured ones....so far I've had sparkly ones and black ones.
To be honest nobody really notices them unless you point it out and I definitely don't think that it's weird at all. I can hear and that's the main thing!

Why would that be weird.? People who are 23 or younger get glasses to see better - why not hearing aids to hear better.?.?.?

(BTW: Not that this has anything to do with your situaiton, but THIS is one of the reasons why most adults are always yelling at kids to TURN DOWN THE BASS on their car stereos!!!!)Health Question & Answer

No. My cousin is fifteen and he has one. He had parial hearing loss in his right ear after a car accident.

You need to do what you need to do. Don't worry about what other people may think. Until they've walked a mile in your shoes, they can't judge you. So don't let them!Health Question & Answer

No. You need to do what is right for you, and get hearing aids if it will improve your hearing. You don't need to worry about stupid people who have a problem with that.Health Question & Answer

No way, not weird at all. If you need one to hear. Heck, theres nothing weird about that at all. Health Question & Answer
