yesterday i pooed twice and both times i've bled. i heard you have to drink heaps of water to make it go away but this past week i've been drinking at least 1.5 litres a day and thats a big achievement for me haha seeing as i used to have like one glass a day. someone please help!Health Question & Answer

If you see clear red blood on the toilet paper, then it is probably coming from haemorrhoids, which are a pain but not particularly serious. Your pharmacist can advise you about their treatment.

Ok there are cases where you can drink to much water and I think you are it. Drinking water as you know makes you go to the toilet more and the strain of vigirous bowel movements can cause you to burst a blood vessel in your anal area and thats where the blood is coming from. Please cut back the water to 8 glasses per day and see what happens.Health Question & Answer
This happens to me sometimes. I went to the doctor and was told that I had anal fissures. She gave me some hydrocortisone cream and sent me on my way. I had a really itchy butt and sometimes sitting to much caused it. I would say, if you have insurance get it checked out because bloody stool can lead to some fairly serious problems. If you're like me, chances are you are if you're seeking medical advice on yahoo!, and have no insurance then I recommend calling every clinic in town and get the cost of an office visit. you may have hemorrhoids. Keep drinking lots of water, it helps. also add loads of fiber from fresh fruits and veggies or a fiber supplement to ease the constipation.
