I started taking antibiotics a few days ago..?!

Question: I started taking antibiotics a few days ago...?
For a tooth infection. And now I can't stop coughing, am congested (have phlegmy cough), and feel lethargic. Is it related.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I don't think you are coughing because of the antibiotics you are taking. Congestion and coughing could be an unrelated symptom. However it is possible that your tooth infection related to your symptoms, for instance your immune system might be down because of it and it is also possible that the type of antibiotic you are taking is ineffective for this type of infection.
Your tooth infection should be much better after a few days of antibiotic cure, if it is not, call your doctor for advice.Health Question & Answer

shouldn't be wonder if the infection got into ur blood talk to the dentist then make an appointment to see the doctor maybe u r allergic to the antibiotic type. didn't know i was allergic to codeine til i took it made me real sick. call the doctor. leave a message on his voice mail he will tell u to go in, go to the e.r. or make an appointment and whether to stop taking them. Health Question & Answer

No but the anti biotic should help with that. Drink plenty of water and eat when you are on your pill schedule. Lethargic maybe is a bi product. Take Good multi vitamin when off the anti biotics to rebuild your nutrition.

also make sure you are not taking too much pills. Too many isnt better. I slept alot but I wanted to do so.Health Question & Answer

I would suggest you speak to a GP rather than have somebody like me answering this question.
Although, in my opinion, no.
