Can Painting in Confined Area Cause Brain Damage?!

Question: Can Painting in Confined Area Cause Brain Damage.?
When I was little, I was made out to be a genius by a bunch of doctors. When I was about 12 I started airbrushing models in the basement den. It doesn't have any windows or any ventilation, and I would be down there for over an hour sometimes. I know huffing causes brain damage, but could this cause brain damage.? It was Model Masters enamel and acrylic paint mixed with paint thinner. Thanks in advanced, AyecoHealth Question & Answer

well as long as you dont see any major warning signs dont worry a whole lot..but yes it can cause issues/headaches/etc...when doing paiting/airbrushing/working with models and glue...you need well ventilated area..the fumes alone are very strong and can be hazzarous to you.....if you feel there is a problem talk to a doctor...for safe precautions...as for continuing your models...do in ventilated area...Health Question & Answer

If there is not proper ventilation in the room, then yes, it can cause brain damage. It depends on if you were in there everyday, and how much time you spent. I painted my house in 4 hours, but I had windows open, and fans blowing. Health Question & Answer
