Don't give her any food for at least 12 hours, and just leave water out for her. Dogs have an instinct on how to handle their own illness - just leave her be. Don't give her any table foods and when you do go back to feeding her, do it a little bit at a time, until she can handle it. Now, if this continues, new symptoms occur or it gets worse, then you need to take her to a vet.Health Question & Answer

It's hard to answer this question with what's given. Did she throw up her undigested meal (Did she eat too fast) Did she vomit once or multiple times.? Is there a chance that she could have ingested something toxic.? Is she eating or drinking normally otherwise.? Your best bet would be to take her to the vet or call an emergency vet for assistance. Make sure you can give them as much information as possible so that they can help you.

Poor thing! Check everywhere to see if you can find what made her sick (anything she could have eaten) and make sure she gets plenty of water. Chances are it's just temporary and she will get over it in a while. If she still feels sick in a while, take her to the vet. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

This is an old home remedy but is works. It will help if she has gotten into some anti-freeze some where. Give her a cup of milk, not a big glass, maybe 4 ounces or so. She may get the runs a little, but she should feel better tomorrow. If you can afford the vet take her there. There are a number of things it could be some of which are deadly. Parvo is one of them. And to recover through this they need attention immediately from a vet. Good Luck : )Health Question & Answer
