I tried some mary jane (the drug) for the very first time on Saturday- stupid and wrong, I know, please don't lecture me. Anyways, I am on acutane (a medication) and every month I have to have my blood tested to check my cholesterol. First off, how long does it stay in your blood.? Can I drink a lot of water to get rid of it.? And will they even see it if they're not looking for drugs.? Please help me! This was such a major mistake :(Health Question & Answer

If they are checking for cholesterol, then you have nothing to worry about, because that is all they'll be looking for. Occasional cannabis smoking only lingers in the blood for a couple of days anyway. Whereas in heavy smokers it can be detected in the blood for up to 4 weeks.

No they will not test you for drugs. A drug test has to be ordered special by a doctor and drawn up in its own blood tube. Health Question & Answer
