Question: Getting contact lenses.?
Question 1: Hi, I have ocd and I feel like I have to clean my glasses alll the time to get the dust off them. If I were to get contacts, obviously they'd be a lot cleaner in the rain and wouldn't get dusty right.? Or would I still have ocd-type problems with contact lenses.?
Question 2: Can you go jogging/ run with contacts.? What if you get dust in them, how hard/easy is it to change /clean them w/o being near a sink.?

Answers:
1: Contacts do not get dirty like glasses because your eyelids close. It is absolulely impossible for me to be able to tell through a computer if you will be ocd about it or not.
#2: You can definately be very active with contacts. If you get dust in your eye, it will be just like if you didn't have contacts in. It will burn and you will try to get it out.
I would always keep at least some eye drops with you in case of emergency, like you HAVE to take one out. That doesn't happen very often.Health Question & Answer

I wear glasses and I tried contact lenses but they irritated my eyes, it might be different for you obviously but I found that I could feel them constantly
I'm pretty sure you can go running in them, swimming is what you can't do with lenses in. I would find it difficult to clean and change them without a mirror and sink.
What you could do is try them out at the opticians, and they could give you some for a week or something to see if you like them Health Question & Answer
