Feeling faint after physical activity?!
Question: Feeling faint after physical activity.?
Intro:
Age: 14
Body Type: Slim/Slender
--------------------------------------...
Today I went to tryout for basketball at my high school, after a couple of runs/drills I felt very light headed and I felt like I was going to throw up.
It's been happening to me the past 6-7 months.?
I've been playing basketball since I was about 8, and I'm in good physical shape.
I just have no clue what's happening to me!
I think it may have something to do with my breathing.
Any help is appreciated!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You could have sports-induced asthma.
Or orthostatic hypotension.
Or possibly a heart defect (I don't mean to scare you, but sometimes these things are not caught in early childhood.)
I'd recommend seeing a doctor.
Or you could simply be dehydrated, hypoglycemic, or experiencing an electrolyte imbalance. In other words, drink gatorade and eat a little something before physical activity.Health Question & Answer
