Is this possible....?!

Question: Is this possible.....?
I was hanging out with some friends about two weeks ago. They have this REALLY hot sauce and it only takes a drop to heat something up. Its insane. Well I dipped a toothpick in the jar and put it on my tongue and they had said it was too much. At first it wasn't bad and then it burned ALL the way down my throat and into my stomach. Now the thought of anything spicy makes me sick and even if I eat something with the tiniest amount of spice(less then mild) my stomach burns really bad. Its horrible.

Could my stomach have been burned by the hot sauce.? What do you think.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
No, it is highly unlikely that your stomach got burned by the hot sauce ALTHOUGH it is possible there is something else wrong with you. On occasion I have heard of people that have allergies to spicy foods. You should get tested for that if you like eating that type of stuff. Health Question & Answer

I don't think so, at least not with that amount. I think you just had a bad experience with hot sauce and now your body doesn't want to have the same experience again, so it freaks out. I once over ate chocolate, when I was like 8, couldn't eat for half a year, if I would so much as smell chocolate I would get really nauseous. It went away though, and so will your problem. i think its kinda like your first hangover. during that process, you feel like you wont want to drink ever again. but then you do. id say stay away from spicy stuff for a bit, drink water, and itll probably come backHealth Question & Answer

You may have burnt your stomach or you have an infection as the sauce is joint with a virus.Health Question & Answer
