Numbness in Butt and Legs?!

Question: Numbness in Butt and Legs.?
For the last week or so I have been having numbness in my buttocks and both legs. I also have some minor chest pain (right side of my chest) and a little back pain (possibly a pinched nerve). The numbness isn't so severe that I can't walk, but it is a scary feeling to not be able to feel anything in your lower half. I have never had any bodily injuries that would effect my body like this. No car accidents or back injuries, although I have been hospitalized before due to some serious strange nerve issues, usually involving my upper back and neck area. I have been under some stress lately and think that might be an underlying cause. Bottom line: What can cause numbness like this.? It is starting to scare me. Here is a little background on me:

Age: 27
Sex: F
Weight: 155
Height: 5'6"
Smoke/Drink: Y/Y

You might have pulled a disc out in your lower back which could be pinching a nerve. Just turning to pick something up could have pulled the disc out. I would suggest seeing your family doc for a referral for an MRI to see what is going on in there. If it's not a disc then you need to see if it has anything to do with the "strange" nerve issue you had. Health Question & Answer

The fine arteries in the back clog up just like the arteries in the heart causing bone weakness from lack of nourishing blood. Then a nerve can be pinched easily and blood clots form etc... The best thing to do about it is to cut out hard fats from the diet and to get on an exercise program. Health Question & Answer
