Question: WHY DOES IT HURT WHEN I SWALLOW.?
I went to have breakfast this morning and it was so painful to swallow..I can speak fine, move my neck good but when its time to eat food or drink it hurts. This has never happened to me before. What is wrong with me.?

Is your jaw sore.?
feel your neck about half an inch below your jaw line, if it feels swollen and nodular you've probably got mildly swollen glands due to some infection or another
Try a mild anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen, some kind of hot liquid (my favourite is hot whiskey but since you're gonna be on painkillers, you might have to settle with tea lol) and if doesn't die down by tomorrow go in and see your GP, he'll probably prescribe you an antibiotic, or at least examine your throat.Health Question & Answer
