My sleep cycle is way off, how do I reset it ?!

Question: My sleep cycle is way off, how do I reset it .?
So for about the past 2 weeks or so I've been staying up till 6 am or later and i would wake up around 3-4 pm. Its almost winter time here so I wouldn't really see sunlight . I always stayed up late and woke up late but never this bad. This all started one night when i was extremely upset and stayed up till 5 or 6 am, and every night after that it just got worse and i would stay up later and wake up later. Then yesterday i literally slept through the whole day and didn't see any sunlight like a freaking vampire.

Its 9am now and i haven't slept yet, i was wondering should I just stay up until like 8 or 9 pm and just go to sleep then .? So ill wake up tomorrow real early. Or will this mess up my cycle even worse .?
im 19 y/o btw.Health Question & Answer

I was going to say, do your best to stay up tell about 8or 7 pm you should be out by 9 pm and up by 5 am thats cool most people star their day like that, then the next day stay up to 9 pm and youll wake about 6 or 7 am thats even better. O.K. rest well :0Health Question & Answer

I have a habit of doing this also. You will just have to skip a night of sleep. Stay up today, and go to sleep around 7pm, you will be extremely tired so plan for a few extra hours of sleep so your over tired body can rest. If you do this you should wake up around 6-7am and be all reset.Health Question & Answer

The best thing to do is skip a night of sleep. You'll be so tired by the next night you'll fall asleep easily.

Decide on what sleep pattern works for you, for example would you rather sleep 10pm till 8am or 2am till 11am.?
Whatever you decide, go to sleep at that time (after you skip the night) and set an alarm clock for whenever you decide you want to wake up.
If you get to the next night and aren't tired again, take a herbal sleep remedy, and once again set your alarm for whatever time you want to wake up.
Once you've done this for a couple of weeks your body will be used to getting up and going to sleep the same time and your sleep cycle should be re-set.

If you're still having problems, go to your doctor for sleeping tablets.

Good luck :)Health Question & Answer
