Horrible motion sickness?!


Question: Horrible motion sickness.?
I get horrible motion sickness when I'm in the car, on a boat, YOU NAME IT. I know this is common but what are some things you can do to relieve this.? I don't read or anything in the car, I normally look straight out the window.

My joy rides have not been so joyful either. I've suffered from this since childhood too. I always sleep in the car. I always sit in front seat. It's better now but I still don't think I can go on a boat or amusement park rides. I've tried wrist bands that are supposed to be like aacupuncture, Dramamine, etc. and nothing really works. I do know that you will have better results if you take Dramamine or similar med at least an hr. prior to travel though.Health Question & Answer

The only time I get motion sickness is in the Mountains on the curvy roads.. ugh, thinking about it makes me want to hurl. But that one person is right, try Dramamine, it didn't make me sleepy, but it helped a lot. Bring something to drink to, non-caffeine, and crackers with salt or something to help with the nausea. That's what I had to do the entire time I was on Vacation.. lol.

actually if your just riding in the car you need to change your focus every now and then to be sure your not just looking at one thing because when you focus on one thing your peripheral throws off your mind..... dont look at the window.... look past the window.. ok trust me it workHealth Question & Answer
