Well My eye i kind of swollen not really noticeable but it hurts and is red. What can I do to prevent it from getting bigger and making it go away by tomorrow.? ThanksHealth Question & Answer

You need to keep the eye flushed out and clean. Try using Visine or the equivalent several times a day... but if it is really bad, you will need to see a doctor to get a prescription.

If you go to CVS or Walgreens, in the eye care section they have a product called Similasan. It comes in a box with pink on the top and a picture of an eye. This provides great relief. Because it is not a prescription med they cannot claim it cures it, but it did for me.
Warm compresses to the eye a few times a day will ease the symptoms too.
It is very important that you wash your towels, wash clothes, sheets and pillowcases and anything else that your eye comes in to contact with in hot water with bleach to kill the germs. It is highly contagious. If you sleep with someone, take the couch and do them a favor. But cover the couch first before lying on it.
It is also important to keep anything that these items touch wiped down with alcohol, lysol wipes or sprayed with lysol. Like the clothes hamper or even the counter where you set your towel on.
