Question: Should i go back to doctor.?
i caught a cold 4 weeks ago and as it was clearing up it felt like i caught another on top with a cough,i had pain across forehead and cheeks and went to dr who gave me antibiotics but after a week i still had lot of congestion and cough and went to dr again only to be given sudafed tablets,a week on and its no better and on the two occasions i went to dr was told chest is clear so is it worth another trip to dr or just wait till it gets better on its ownHealth Question & Answer

Did he tell you you have a sinus infection, or did he just give you antibiotics.? And did you take them for exactly 10 days.?
It's very important you take the right amount of antibiotics (according to weight and height) and that you follow it through. Sinus infections can get really nasty, so I think it's wise to go to the doctor again and tell him it's not working (assuming you did go through with the whole cure)Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you had a sinus infection, which is what the antibiotics would be for. Those can be nasty and take awhile to go away. The coughing is actually a good sign, because that's they body's way of bringing up all the mucus to get it out of your body.

It depends. Are you running a fever.? Honestly, I would drop the Sudafed and go with Zyrtec which you can buy over the counter now. I would do that for another week and see if it clears up. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
