Always best to ask your physician to have a hearing test at times like these. However, the same thing happened with my daughter and she was fine. She was distracted and somewhat immature in comparison to others in her class. We had her tested and she was fine.
I smile, looking back, as a school counsellor told us (she was in public kindergarten at the time this happened to us) "people hear what they want to hear" and I know I have selective hearing.
But, testing is always wise and it can take away the worry. Plus, if there was some kind of problem, you would certainly want to know as soon as you could so that your child could be accommodated.Health Question & Answer
