Should I get a Dr.'s note w/letterhead & carry it around, showing proof that I have Tourette's?!

Question: Should I get a Dr.'s note w/letterhead & carry it around, showing proof that I have Tourette's.?
I've almost gone to jail for disturbing the peace, SO MANY times, because of my Tourette's, & the cops don't care to hear about me explaining my tics & outbursts. How can I carry around proof that I have anxiety-induced Tourette's, so I won't get in trouble or my life ruined because of the cops being abusive, hateful, & ignorant.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes, it's always best to have proof. Put it in your pocket, wallet, or folder. Make a few copies of the note.

If the cops are still assholes when you show them proof, then you should sue them or file a complaint against them for treating a person with disability like dirt. You should join a support group. Maybe the people in that group will help you and back you up when you need them.

also, you can contact the media to report your story. The media loves to report something negative about a company or a government service. So when the law enforcement's reputation gets tainted or ruined, the cops will be obligated to treat people with respect. Health Question & Answer
