Question: Any ideas on ways to get rid of a caffeine addiction.?
I have recently become addicted to caffeine since I found it helps me stay awake in my classes (especially the ones that are longer than an hour). Are there any particularly helpful ways of cutting out caffeine in a person's daily intake.?Health Question & Answer

I think the best way is to cut it out gradually.

If you normally get your coffee at a place like Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks, ask them to fill it with half decaffeinated, and half caffeinated. Or, reduce the amount you drink per serving, and the frequency of your drinks. Maybe switch from coffee to diet coke, as diet coke has less caffeine.

also, change your sleep pattern so you aren't as tired, so you won't be as reliant on caffeine to stay awake. You may not be getting enough sleep, and you need to get to bed earlier.Health Question & Answer
