Question: What was the purpose of doctors from a long time ago wearing....?
Why did doctor's from a long time ago wear a metal circle thing on their forehead that looked like a circle mirror..what was that and what was the point.?.?

it's a light. the silver thing is a reflector to make the tiny bulb's light brighter. They used it for looking into your mouth and ears and up your nose and other places.

now they have tiny flashlights that put out more light than the headlamp with the reflector.Health Question & Answer
