Help with addiction problems?!

Question: Help with addiction problems.?
I'm a junior in high school. A lot of bad **** has happened this year in my life and I dealt with stress by partying. Now it has become more than just party drinking/using (marijuana, painkillers, opiates). I do drugs whenever I can and I know I can get a hold of meth and some other hard **** really easily and cheap. My girlfriend started crying the other day because she is worried and I know I really need to stop, but I can't. I want to but I can't. I don't want to tell my parents because my mom is a psycho and will freak out and I am best friend's with my dad and I don't want to disappoint him. I'm a straight A student (but failing math) and a generally good kid... what do I do.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Hey dude I've been in your position.Don't tell your parents or anyone just yet.I suggest you should just drop meth.If I were you stay away from the cocaine, meth,or heroin. The other stuff is fine for now but don't do it on school days.If you can't keep a hold of yourself, then see a counselor or something so you can break the addiction. They keep everything confidential.Maybe you should try a drug not as harmful because trust METH is no way to go in high school.Health Question & Answer

Well, what about a grand-parent they can help a lot. also you could see a counselor. It sounds like you were doing these things because of certaint problems, is it possible to fix these problems. also you should ask you girlfriend for some motivation instead of being scared for you, and make like a reward for yourself like whatever your favorite thing to do is, you could give youself a time or an amout of it i.e. ice cream, seing movies, anything but drugs, drinking, ect. I really hope you are able to stop soon and am glad you care about it.Health Question & Answer

You need to stop. You need to tell someone who can hold you accountable. You will not do that on your own.Health Question & Answer
