I'm asking in another section for a greater amount/variety of answers:
Some drugs, while they alter the mental state temporarily, do not have any permanent effects. If I'm not mistaken, mushrooms ("shrooms") are an example of this.

Answers:
Yes I would be against it because while the person is "on" the drug, he/she is not themselves. Some drugs or hallucinogenics can cause you to do/act in ways that you would never consider if you were sober. Many crimes are committed on drugs and the long lasting repercussions of such acts will be while you are sober, not high!!
Why chance getting in a car crash.? Having sex with someone you don't know, robbing a store or just saying bad things to your b'friend.?
And do we really know that these drugs do not have long lasting effects.?.? Science is still learning. Why take a chance that an unborn baby might be seriously ill because you wanted to get high.?
Finding other healthier ways to have fun is better. Go bake a cake and have a glass of wine. It's safer. And cake is good!Health Question & Answer

All drugs affect the body in a negative fashion in some way. For example: if you have a headache and you take a drug for the symptoms of a headache the drug goes through your whole body not just to the area in your head where you feel the headache. So even though the tablet helps your headache it is also affecting every other area of your body at the same time. So you have to choose.Health Question & Answer
