My boyfriend wants a razor/shaver for Christmas. What is the difference?!
Question: My boyfriend wants a razor/shaver for Christmas. What is the difference.?
Ok, my boyfriend hinted that he wanted a nice razor and/or shaver for Christmas. I'm not clear on the differences....I think he wants something to shave his face with, so what would be a nice option.? And what is the difference between a shaver and a razor.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
shavers are probably what he means since he said he wanted a NICE one. Razors are usually disposible, but do have replacement heads sometimes. Shavers are pretty much always replaceable heads instead of the whole thing being disposible.Health Question & Answer
Both do the same thing.
Shaver is electric (usually has a rechargable battery). I recommend anything by Norelco (aritect is the most popular right now)
a Razor is old school (but you get a better shave). I would recommend the Gillette Fushion Power (with a lot of extra blades). The blades usualy last about 10 days at best.Health Question & Answer

Really-nothing, but to be technical- a razor is non electric-uses razor blades.(and the man needs to use a good shaving cream , using a razor) They are way less expensive than Shavers-and one can easily get cut using a razor. I buy my sons Electric shavers- they make all kinds-really depends where you live, how both are referred to. good luck! (you can get either at any grocery or department store!)Health Question & Answer
Buy one of each. Drag them both across your wrists. The one that ends all of our misery is the razor. Happy shopping!Health Question & Answer
