ever since i was 5 i have loved the taste of blood. i once got a cut and was literally sucking all the blood out i could. now i am 14 and whenever i get a cut i drink the blood. does this make me weird.Health Question & Answer

But from a medical point of view, drinking blood is not at all good for you although some people might think it is.
You see, our stomac cannot digest blood, blood is not made up of carbs, sugar, fat, protein or anything else that our stomac is able to digest...it is made up of hemoglobin and this cannot pass well through our gastro intestinal track which is why when a person swallows to much blood they eventually vomit because the stomac cant handle it
