I accidentally took two of my anti-depressants, what do I do?!

Question: I accidentally took two of my anti-depressants, what do I do.?
I realize the consequences will be relatively small and this is the first time ive done this since i began taking the pills several years ago.

However, what smaller sideeffects will occur.? WIll i get headaches, or feel shaky.?
Should i drink more water or eat something.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
You may get a slight headache,
and if you do, aspirin will suffice.
The consequences aren't bad neccessarily,
just don't do it again.

Hey!
You might feel a little loopy...Like if I missed a dose, I would get a little dizzy. That was when I was taking Effexor (it really sucked when I first started on it). Usually when I forgot to take it, I would wait till the next day to take it. And if I accidentally took two, I would skip the next day and start taking the regular dosage on the third day. But if you are super concerned, I would talk to your doctor.Health Question & Answer

depends what kind it was. i would not worry at all. because usually taking more anti-depressants than a normal dose would be gives you a feeling of being intoxicated and you will not have a worry in the world. =]Health Question & Answer

As long as you don't do it too often you will be absolutely fine. You'll probably have a really happy day though!

Possibly a little light headedness but nothing more serious than that, no need to worry.

Yes drink more water, and I don't recommend driving unless you feel the same. But I have accidentally done the same. I didn't have any noticeable side affects.Health Question & Answer
