When I get up to fast everything goes kind of dark for a few seconds then goes normal again. Should I be worried.? Does this happen to you to.? Do you know what it is.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Orthostatic/Postural Hypotension.
It means your blood pressure can drop when you change positions too quickly. It's common in really tall people.

also dehydration and some medications will cause this.

If you are taking any medications, check the box or Google the drugs side effects to see if your symptoms fit. If you are unsure you can always ask a pharmacist. If these are side effects of medications, let your doctor know.

also try drinking more water. Most people don't drink enough to keep their bodies hydrated. Health Question & Answer

I do not know what it is. However, when I get up too fast, I get really really dizzy to the point of I sometimes fall. I believe this is normal. Maybe it is the same type of thing.? If you are really worried you could call and ask your doctor. Or you could bring it up at your next appointment just to be sure. Good luck and I hope that all is well :)Health Question & Answer

No! Don't be worried at all.
When you get up too fast, the blood doesn't get to your head straight away, so you might suffer from dizziness or darkness for just a few second until the blood get's back to your brain.
also, I have only started going dizzy when I get up too fast since a few years ago so dont worry. Its normal/.Health Question & Answer

that's what happend with my mom one day, she got up suddenly and then she felled down and she fainted for 10-15 minutes,
upon checking with doctor, he advised that when u suddenly gets up after sleeping ur blood flow doesn't circulate thats why u will see dark and probably fainted if not careful,
best thing is to do is when u woke up sit down for few mintues and then get up.. to avoid the problems.
