i got a 24 hour bug for the flu on thursday. it lasted all day yesterday and i felt human this morning, and not sick at all. i have a christmas party to go to and the host said she doesnt want me to come if i am still contagious. am i.?Health Question & Answer

possibly. the pathogens (invading bodies that caused the flu) are probably still in your system just being beaten by your immune system. if you go out and do too much it may start again. also you can spread weak viruses to others and they can get the full force of the flu as their body is unprepared.
