1.) What will the port look like. (How can I accurately identify if there is a saline lock or not).?

When we do Saline locks when we DC the line we push NS through the IV Cath and just lock it off.. Its the same as a Hep lock just Saline is used and not Heparin... Hope that's what you were looking forHealth Question & Answer
