Nasal spray question?!

Question: Nasal spray question.?
I bought a Nasal spray for if you get a cold.
Now I read everything and it says that I can not use it longer then 1 week.
What do they exactly mean.? Do they mean: Throw it away after you have used it for 1 week, or do they mean: Use it 1 week, and then you can keep it for the next time.
I'm asking this because there is 10 mL in it and I used it for a week, but I only used about the 3 mL.Health Question & Answer

The instructions mean to tell you or warn you against using it for more than a week and the nurse is right, but there are other unexplored benefits of using certain types with certain ingredients and I'm sure the concentration is on the sinuses and the effects that the spray would have, but there is much of the process of breathing is unexplored. For example, what does your body do when it is relieved of the stress of having to breathe.? And what effects do the chemicals in the spray have on that process.?
It's all good though. Your body will tell you if it's the wrong thing to do or if you've done too much.Health Question & Answer

You can use it everyday for up to 5 days, but then you should stop because you nose membranes get too used to it and it stops working.
If it was me...I would throw it away because if you had a cold or something...you will reinfect yourself when you put it up in your nose next time.Health Question & Answer

actually, it should read no more than three days. After three days, you get rebound, and the spray will cause congestion rather than alleviate it.Health Question & Answer

that means you can still use it but just put it up for later hope this helps D:Health Question & Answer
