I have infected teeth. I went to the er this morning because my face is really swollen :( I got prescribed Bactrim DS. I was just wondering if that medicine will work.? I know that usually when people have an infection such as teeth they get prescribed Penicillan.Health Question & Answer

I got Bactrim for a urinary tract infection.
I had the UTI for like 2 weeks before I even went to the doctor, the doctor gave me the prescription, and the infection was gone within a couple days.
