it became quite painful. The pain began to spread slightly toward my stomach and a little more onto my back. It was a dull & achy pain and it hurt like hell every time I took a breath. The pain was sharp when I took a breath. I was finally able to fall asleep, but this morning, the pain was so bad, it woke me up. The pain on my side, and especially my shoulder was awful. I could not fall back asleep. All day, it has been on and off. Sometimes it was just kind of sore, and other times it really hurt. A couple hours ago, I began to have a achy feeling below my left ear, on my neck. About an hour ago, the same achy pain started on my right side, just not as bad. I'm concerned, but i can't afford to go to the doctor. Any one have an idea of what this could be.? I'm only 19, and I haven't done anything physically straining to pull a muscle.Health Question & Answer

I had a pain in my upper back and side, down into my arm. Come to find out it was a ruptured disc in my neck. Have you been hunched over your computer a lot.? Writing, school or work.? I would recomend a chiropractor. They might cost about $120 for the first visit and x-rays then it is only 40-45 after the first visit. No pain is worth it.Health Question & Answer
