I have virus yesterday my fever got to 104 today it's down to about 102. Is this a sign that I am getting better or is another trip to the doctor necessaryHealth Question & Answer

Fever means you body is fighting a war. If fever is incrementally coming down, such as your decrease from 104 to 102 today, that is a good sign. Continue to treat the fever periodically with Ibuprofen or Tylenol.
If fever does not subside in another 48 hours or other symptoms worsen, return to the doctor.
Stay well hydrated as fever is a very dehydrating process.
